That steep, awkward slope you've written off? A precision-engineered retaining wall turns it into flat, usable space,
for the kids to play, to entertain or for the garden you've always pictured.
Built once. Built right. Built to outlast the house.

You paid for every square metre of your block. But that slope down the back? It's doing nothing for you.
It's too steep to build on, too awkward to landscape, and every heavy rain it sheds a little more soil onto the lawn. The kids can't safely play on it. You can't entertain on it. It just sits there, an eyesore you've stopped noticing because you've given up on it.
And if there's already a retaining wall there, it might be worse. The one the previous owner "sorted out" is starting to lean. The timber's rotting. There's a hairline crack that wasn't there last summer.
Here's what most people don't find out until it's too late: a cheap retaining wall is the most expensive kind. The bargain job that fails in five years doesn't just cost you the repair, it takes out the garden, the paving, and the retaining wall you now have to build properly anyway. Do it cheap, and you'll do it twice.
You don't want the cheapest wall. You want the last wall.
Most walls are built to look right on handover day. Ours are built to still be standing in thirty years. That difference is everything you can't see: real footings, proper drainage, and a design that works with the slope instead of fighting it, so water and weight have somewhere to go.
Anyone can stack blocks. Very few can build a wall that holds back tonnes of saturated earth for decades. Every one of our walls is properly engineered, assessed for soil load, drainage, and site conditions, then designed and certified to hold. That's why ours don't bulge, crack, or lean. They're built to a standard, not a shortcut.
This is the whole point. We take ground you can't use and give you back flat, level, usable space: a safe play area for the kids, a proper entertaining zone, room for raised garden beds, or simply lawn you can walk across without climbing. It's like adding a room to your home, outdoors.
We manage the whole project end to end: engineering, council approvals, drainage, build, and cleanup, so you don't have to chase anyone. Premium materials, a finish that suits your home, tidy site, clear timeline, and a wall backed by a genuine structural guarantee. Done once. Done right. Done properly.
Upfront, yes. Over its lifetime, no. A properly engineered wall is built once and forgotten. A cheap wall gets rebuilt, often taking your landscaping down with it. When you count the full cost, engineered is the economical choice.
Most projects are completed in [????] depending on size and access. We project-manage the whole thing, keep the site tidy throughout, and leave it clean. You'll have a clear timeline before we start. No open-ended jobs dragging on for months.
Often, yes. Walls above a certain height, or near boundaries and structures, require engineering and permits. The good news: we handle all of it for you. Assessment, certification, and council compliance are included in your quote, so there's nothing for you to organise.
That's exactly what engineering is for. Difficult sites are where cheap walls fail and proper design earns its keep. We assess the specific challenges of your block and design for them. That's the whole reason our walls last.
I run Tediore out of Sunbury. Five years in, and a lot of our clients started with a fence, then realised they'd finally found a crew that gives them the finish they actually wanted. Before long we're back doing walls, house cuts, drainage and earthworks.
For me it comes down to two things: how you're treated through the job, and how the place looks when we leave. I don't like loose ends and I don't like handing back a site that isn't spot on. That's the whole point of the business.
If you want a rendered retaining wall built to hold and finished to sit right with your home, have a yarn with me and I'll come take a proper look.
